it was a good atmosphere (though FREEZING!) and it went very well. Some 2000 were there. Apart from your usual angry bunch of boys hopping in some corner, shouting nonsense, and ignored by all, the message was clear and simple: we are all equal regardless of race, creed, or religion and we demand equal treatment.
Actually, I attended one such demonstration in front of the White House during the 2006 war, and I found the experience frustrating. It seems I am completely dictatorial in my political participation and orientation, ie I wanted people to stay on message — my message. Oh, well.
